Paige and I had a potty break where she begged to be hoisted up into the kid seat. I had to laugh. She was having so much fun getting into it she didn't realize there was no way out until I decided it was time for her to get out. I let her sit there for a bit until realization dawned on her. Sometimes we truly don't see what we're getting into and another person (like mom) can see it clearly. I'm sure the angels in heaven have a good laugh over our predicaments quite often.Okay, don't tell Paige I said this, but notice the outfit she's wearing? She still loves the Stanley suit http://shnopa.blogspot.com/2007/10/i-dont-care-who-you-are-this-is-just.html and you can see it's well loved ... and worn by looking at the knees. Look closely at her right leg and you'll see her green tail with a pink bow on the end. She puts the ribbon in the back of her pants and it hangs down like a tail. She usually only wears it when she's with her family because she gets embarrassed. I love that she can still be innocent and have fun playing make believe. She has a great imagination.

I really liked what I found in it ...
I know it's not good to let your kids play in furniture, really I do. Sometimes they're so doggone cute I can't resist.

I love going to that village too. I always get the urge to visit in the spring and I can't resist the candy shop either! That's our reward at the end of the trip for kids who are good. Or sort of good. Or haven't at least hit someone or pulled hair in the past 5 minutes. Or at LEAST told me they were sorry while I was holding their candy at the checkout counter just so they could have the item. I'm such a sucker for a mom sometimes. The tail thing is so funny! I can't believe she does that. :) Enjoy it now, it probably won't last much longer!
