More

Watch Kate sign for 'more' as she also says it. She is so smart and cute!! And by the way, that spot on her forehead was from being dropped on Thanksgiving. Poor little baby.

Quick Update

I can't get the pictures to go in the order I want, but here we go anyway. It's a backwards timeline. Here's our sweet baby 'K-K', which is what I call her, but her name is Kate.A rare moment when Kate will actually let Preston hold her.
K-K had cavities on her bottom front teeth and was knocked out to get it fixed. Awwww ... poor baby.
An almost every morning occurrence at our house.

At our ward campout at the end of summer we played on this swing before going home.
We went to the lake several times with Mark and Carolyn. This time we also had Matt and Cathy with us and also Jonathan and Benj. This is Ashley, Jonathan and Paige.
Little purple riding hood didn't get a sunburn this time thanks to her willingness to keep her hat on. We tell her she's so cute and she'll wear whatever we put on her.
Preston fought with me in the morning insisting he did NOT want his swim trunks and was NOT getting in the water. I almost brought them anyway (knowing he would be getting in the water), but I let him have his way. He ended up in wet jeans all day, but didn't complain. I bet next time he'll listen to me though.
Baby bum. Awww, I couldn't resist. I love little bums!!
AWESOME!!! Good one, Prest ... love the tongue!!
Too much fun.
Just getting back from a ride on the waverunner. Mark will be assisting with the disembark.
So CUTE!! I know there are a lot of pics of K-K, but she's so darn cute!!

At our family reunion early in the summer. We had some delicious food and lots of time to talk and catch up. I always love being with my family.

Cheeseballs and Snap

I like to take a video when the kids think I'm taking a picture. These two really make me laugh!!

All excited ...

... for the new recreation center to open up. And by the time I've gotten around to posting this we've already been 3 times. We love it!!!

Does someone love Kate?

OH YES!!! And the feeling is mutual. I think we have another daddy's girl.

Little cooks

In the morning, busy with Kate, and probably wanting to hang out in bed a little too long, I discovered my kids know how to make waffles. I'm looking forward to the day they get a little crazy and make me some lasagne while I lounge around. They made PLENTY for all. I'm so proud of them.

What we like to do ...

We like to play together and make each other laugh. We like to have our own way as often as mom and dad will give in to 'the look'.
We like to hold each other as we watch movies. We like to have our picture taken.
We like to sit and watch (and be warm) while the older kids play outside.

We like sharing our life with you. We hope your life is a joyous one.

Tiny Jammies

Preston has been getting into a box of his 'baby' jammies and putting on all his old favorites. He doesn't understand why he can't get the shirt pulled down all the way and has a good 6 inches or more of his tummy showing. Last night he was running around in them and even slept in them.

At prayer time Paige said, "Heavenly Father, please help Preston realize that his jammies are too small."

Kids making their own fun

Sometimes I come downstairs to the craziest 'fun' things. I don't know what was going on here, but it looks like it required a bit of effort. I'm just glad they aren't fighting. Isn't any parent glad for that? Ahhhh .....

Oh, Kate!

Kate is figuring out how to get herself into trouble. A few mornings ago I awoke to her complaining. Apparently she thought it would be fun to pull the material over the sides of her bassinet on top of her. After she got it there she didn't know what to do with it.

As a wise mother I thought it would be good to grab the camera.

After a fabulous rescue (and several pictures) all is well.
