The Master Cleanse

I am currently doing a cleanse. I started on Monday and plan to go for 10 days. I've done it once before for 10 days and lost 12 pounds. I also felt healthier and had more energy. At first it seems like a pretty harsh cleanse because you don't eat much at all, but both times I've done it I've noticed I have enough energy to get through the day and I feel healthy. I've done other cleanses that were more difficult even though I was able to eat food. So here's the cleanse:And here's the paraphernalia:You drink 6-10 glasses/day of the following mix:

2 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (approx 1/2 of a lemon)
2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup ***NOT MRS. BUTTERWORTH***
1/10 teaspoon ground non-irradiated cayenne pepper

Combine in a glass and fill remainder of glass with warm water to make approximately 10 oz. Drink as often as you feel hungry, but at least 6-10 glasses/day.

So that's what I'm eating for 10 days. I usually put in more cayenne than is called for. And there's also the matter of the morning salt water flush and evening laxative tea or prune juice, but I don't think you'll want me to go into detail on that.

I highly recommend this cleanse. I never feel deprived as long as I remember to drink the lemon drink whenever I feel hungry. I'm looking forward to going down a size again. And this time I'm also working out. I'll let you know how it goes. Today is day 2.

I am very interested to hear about your results. I will probably do it again sometime, because as you know, I had my downfalls with it. Good luck, Shauna!

Good luck! I hope it all goes well for you and you get your desired results. I should do a cleanse again sometime soon. It's been awhile for me. I don't know that I want to do that maple one, though. You'll have to let us know how it all turns out. :)
