The BEST park!!

We took advantage of all the (other) kids being in school one day and thoroughly enjoyed a popular park in the area almost to ourselves.Proof I was there ...
Here's two innocent looking kids sitting on a very safe looking blue tire dangling on some straps. No one is safe when Doug is in charge of the thrill ride. These kids got the ride of their lives. I don't think I could even push that blue tire as high as Doug got it to go. I said a little prayer that my children would be safe. Do all dads scare mommies with thrill rides for the kids?!!

Obviously they enjoyed it ... and survived! Here they are in good shape getting ready to blast off in the rocketship.3 ... 2 ... 1 ... BLAST OFF!!! Oh NOOOOO!! Preston's not buckled. He had a good time rolling around in the cabin of the rocketship because his buckle wasn't fastened. We had to be on the lookout for monsters in space. There were a lot of 'em.We all had a good time and enjoyed playing without the crowd. I can't help but smile when I look at these pictures. I love my kids. And I love spending time with them and with Doug just enjoying the day and each other.

Yes, the BEST park! It looks like you had lots of fun. The pic of Paige in the slide looks neat. Her face reminds me of you when you were little.

We love that park too. I'm glad you could go on a day when it wasn't a madhouse. I also like that picture of Paige in the slide. It's cute. You should frame it.

I was going to suggest framing the slide picture too. Lisa beat me to it. I'm glad Paige and Preston have fun playing together. They are both so cute.

You got some really cute pictures! I agree with you - dad's get their thrills through the kids and it scares the moms half to death. I usually am saying THAT'S ENOUGH and then I realize the kids are having an absolute blast! Lay off Mom! (me saying that to myself) :) It's great that dads play with the kids differently. Kids remember them for that.
