The most important thing I wanted to accomplish on this trip was to visit the San Diego Temple. I have been to the outside before and have always wanted to go inside. We were excited to be able to take family names on an endowment session. The San Diego Temple is absolutely beautiful and I recommend a visit to anyone who has not had the opportunity.

After visiting the temple and stopping for a bite to eat we spent the rest of the evening with Cynthia and her family relaxing up before our last day at Disneyland. Here is how Preston chose to spend a lot of his time. I think we all needed some down time.

What a good day. I think "downtime" really MAKES a vacation. It helps to give the kids a choice in what they want to do with their own time. It sure helps to avoid meltdowns when they have to do what Mom and Dad want to do. It's nice you all got to go to that temple together. I've never done a session in there. I went in before it was dedicated.
